FedEx Corp.'s (NYSE: FDX) subsidiary FedEx Express, is donating its logistical services for the transport of two giant pandas from the U.S. to China on February 4, 2010. In conjunction with the Smithsonian's National Zoo in Washington, D.C. and Zoo Atlanta, FedEx will fly the panda's without any stops from Washington's Dulles International Airport to Chengdu, China.

Tai Shan and Mei Lan will travel onboard the "FedEx Panda Express," a custom FedEx Express 777 Freighter. Tai Shan is a 4 and a half year old male panda born at the National Zoo, and Mei Lan is a 3 year old female panda born at Zoo Atlanta.
