BlueStep/BridgeGate Health Partners with Polyglot Systems to Provide Simplified, Multilingual Medication Instructions for Seniors
BlueStep/BridgeGate Health, a leading provider of health IT solutions for the long term and post-acute care (LTPAC) market, today announced it has integrated Polyglot Systems’ Meducation® software into its portfolio of information management solutions.
Meducation converts patients/residents’ medication instructions into plain language. With intuitive formats, large fonts, pictograms and videos, the software simplifies complex information in any of 19 languages. With the integration into BlueStep/BridgeGate Health’s electronic health records platform, Meducation solutions can now be delivered to patients electronically or printed, without interrupting clinical workflow. This integration will improve medication adherence by making individual patient instructions engaging and easy to understand. The result is improved health and reduced healthcare costs.
