Thursday will mark the premier of the last installment of the ‘Ocean’s’ series as “Ocean’s Thirteen” hits the screen at the Cannes Film Festival with several of the movie’s stars in attendance.
Brad Pitt has been at the yearly event in support of “A Mighty Heart”, a film he helped produce that stars Angelina Jolie. Pitt has starred in the previous two ‘Ocean’s’ flicks and is back for the third as Rusty Ryan, one of Danny Ocean’s crooked crew members.
Of course Danny Ocean himself is attending the premier. George Clooney has played the role of leader in all three movies and makes it a habit to attend the Cannes Film Festival each year.
Both Pitt and Clooney are buddying up with Matt Damon while in France as well. Damon made an appearance in Clooney’s “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind” and shared the screen with him in “Syriana have shared the screen in “Syriana.” While the only movies Damon has appeared in with Pitt are the ‘Ocean’s’ series he did share the screen with Angelina Jolie in “The Good Shepherd.”
“Ocean’s Thirteen” has a U.S. release date of June 8 and will also star Ellen Barkin, Al Pacino, Bernie Mac, Casey Affleck, Don Cheadle, Elliot Gould and Andy Garcia.
