Lindsay Lohan Arrested on Suspicion of DUI, Possible Drugs Charge
The recently rehabbed Lindsay Lohan was arrested on Saturday on suspicion of DUI and could face additional charges related to drugs after she crashed her car on Sunset Boulevard.
Police believe Lohan was speeding when her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 struck a curb and crashed around 5:30 a.m. While not seriously hurt, Lohan was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries.
Lohan was driving with two other passengers when the accident occurred but neither was injured.
When investigators searched the scene of the accident they found what they believe to be cocaine.
Lindsay Lohan was arrested at the hospital for investigation of misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Lohan could be facing more charges related to the accident when the District Attorney gets more information. She is tentatively scheduled for arraignment on Aug. 24.
