Mission Repair, a long-standing company in the business if repairing iPhones, has noted that Apple issued a recall for many iPhone 5 phones due to failing batteries.

"Apple has issued a recall for certain serial number ranges on the iPhone 5 and is offering a free battery replacement."  Said Ryan Arter, President at Mission Repair.  "In fact, my iPhone 5 battery seems to deplete every few hours and I'm constantly plugging it in whenever I can to charge it.  I checked with Apple's website, and upon running my iPhone 5 through the recall verification process, I was declined a free battery.  This made me think that many of my customers might be seeing the same issues that I'm seeing, and wanted to offer a solution for those in need."
