Speculation on whether Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will ever get married has finally been put to rest. Jolie announced that she and partner, Brad Pitt, will not get married. She also says that she won’t be working this coming year because she wants to spend more time with her kids.
The 31 year old actress is determined to always put her children first. She says she will put them before her efforts to fight for humanitarian causes because that’s the way her mother would have wished it. Jolie says that memories from her own childhood compels her to always remember the importance of her children before she takes on work related responsibilities.
"She would spend months trying to just work out my birthday parties. She would spend a full day trying to compose the nicest letter to thanks somebody for something they did." Jolie said about her mother.
"Sometimes, when I want to take on the world, I try to remember that it's just as important to sit down and ask my son how he's feeling or talk to him about life." the actress says.
