Rosie O’Donnell made her last appearance on "The View" last week. O’Donnell quit the show after she and co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck got into an argument while filming the show.
O’Donell called Hasselbeck "cowardly" for not defending her when she was accused of comparing U.S. soldiers to terrorists. This is not the first time that they have disagreed over politics. Over the year that O’Donnell has been on the show they have often voiced their disagreements, but it had never gotten to this point.
Although O’Donnell was not due to leave the show until June, she requested an early leave, and it was granted. There are no hard feelings between her and her other co-hosts. "Rosie contributed to one of our most exciting and successful years at "The View," Barbara Walters said. "I am most appreciative. Our close and affectionate relationship will not change."
O’Donnell and Hasselbeck still are not speaking but Rosie still says that she is grateful. "It's been an amazing year and I love all three women." She says that her and Hasselbeck may never speak again.
