NHL: Anaheim Ducks Take Game One of Stanley Cup Finals with Two Goals in Third Period

Ryan Getzlaf scored the game-tying goal 5:44 into the third period and Travis Moen netted the game-winner with under three minutes remaining as the Anaheim Ducks overcame a one goal deficit to beat the Ottawa Senators 3-2 in their fits game of the Stanley Cup Finals

Ottawa got on the board early as Mike Fisher scored on a power play 1:38 into the first period. Andy McDonald knotted the score at 1-1 for the Ducks nine minutes later when he found the back of the net off an assist from Teemu Selanne.

The Senators struck again on the power play five minutes into the second period when Wade Redden got the puck past Anaheim goalie Jean-Sebastien Giguere.

Anaheim stepped up the defensive pressure in the third and allowed just seven shots on goal while offensively they got off 14 of their own.

Both teams will met again on Wednesday in Anaheim for game two of their best of seven series.
