Britney Spears reveals all in emotional letter to fans
Britney Spears posted a message on her website opening up about her trip to rehab and her marriage to aspiring rapper Kevin Federline. She reveals that she "hit rock bottom" after her divorce.
After shaving her head, Spears went to Promises, a rehab center in Malibu, California. The 25-year-old singer denies that she went to Promises for alcohol abuse or depression. "Recently, I was sent to a very humbling place called rehab," Spears writes on her website. "I truly hit rock bottom. Till this day I don't think that it was alcohol or depression."
In Britney’s emotional letter to her fans she tries to explain her late night partying and her surprising behavior, like shaving her head. "I think it is actually normal for a young girl to go out after a huge divorce."
The young mom, who is the mother of two, says that now she realizes she must "face a lot of things" because she has to raise her kids. "A lot of insecurities from when I was little are coming up again," Spears writes. "It is like we are never good enough."
"I am going to make mistakes everyday, and I am sure every mistake I make will probably be on CNN or `Good Morning America,'" writes Spears. "I am only human people and I love you for still loving me."
