InterDigital, Inc. (NASDAQ:IDCC) has appointed Naresh Soni to the position of Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Soni initially joined the company as Vice President of Strategic Engineering in June of 2009. He brought with him over twenty years of high technology industry experience. He is now responsible for the company’s technology strategy and roadmap, university and industry relationships, and the provision of guidance on technology investments as the company’s new CTO. Mr. Soni earned his Master of Science in Computer Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. He also earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Univesrity of Mumbai.

InterDigital, Inc. designs and develops digital wireless technologies for use in digital cellular and wireless Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) 802 related products.
