Starr Tincup’s Principal and Co-founder Named One of Fort Worth’s “40 Under 40”

J. William Tincup honored as young business and community leader

Starr Tincup, an integrated marketing firm for business-to-business software and services companies, today announced that J. William Tincup, principal and co-founder of the firm, has been named one of the Fort Worth Business Press’ 2007 40 Under 40 honorees.

In addition to his involvement and dedication to the Fort Worth community through such organizations as Contemporary Dance/Fort Worth (CD/FW) and the Entrepreneurs Foundation of North Texas, William has also played a key role in establishing a well-respected integrated marketing firm serving software and services clients from coast to coast, Starr Tincup. His passion as an entrepreneur has made a difference in the lives of people in both the non-profit and business communities.

“I wasn’t surprised when it was announced that William had been selected one of Fort Worth’s top 40 under 40,” said Bret Starr, principal and co-founder of Starr Tincup. “He’s a dedicated entrepreneur who has contributed a lot to the community and created a great company that is known all over the country for innovative marketing services. What surprised me is that he’s under 40. I thought he was at least 53.”

The 40 Under 40 awards recognize individuals who are working to shape the Fort Worth community’s professional and cultural character. Each year the Fort Worth Business Press selects the community’s top 40 individuals under the age of 40 who have made significant contributions to the Fort Worth community and who have excelled professionally.
