After leading the Florida Gators to back-to-back NCAA Basketball national championships Billy Donovan may be bolting to the NBA to take the vacant head coaching job for the Orlando Magic.
Donovan was reportedly offered $36 million over six years to replace Brian Hill on the Orlando bench and he is expected to accept the offer.
Not long after winning the second national title in as many years Donovan saw four of his juniors opt to enter the NBA Draft. Al Horford, Joakim Noah and Corey Brewer are expected to go in the first round of the June 28 draft while Taurean Green may find a spot in the second round.
Donovan was believed to be set in signing a long-term contract to remain at Florida but had said he would consider leaving if the right situation presented itself.
