Findit.com, owned by Findit, Inc. (OTC Pink: ARTT), (ARTT), formerly known as Artemis Energy Holdings, Inc. is an interactive search engine that provides members the ability to upload content directly to the Findit servers so that it is indexed in real-time will be offering Findit.com Vanity URL extensions to members.
The Vanity URLs will provide an additional opportunity for members to rank in search results on Findit in addition to keywords. Findit search is geared toward providing search results based on members on the site that purchase keywords. When a member Joins Findit they can purchase keywords for a fixed price for one year and receive the top two search results when that keyword is searched on Findit. In addition each keyword that has been purchased since Findit launched comes with a Vanity URL on Findit already and any keywords purchased between now and when we go live with the Vanity URL will automatically include the URL extension of Findit for the next 12 months.
After the vanity URL goes live members will have the option to either purchase the URL extension and the same word(s) as a keyword or only the URL. If the person purchases the keyword and the URL has not been purchased they will automatically receive the URL as well.
The indexing will be prioritized as follows:
Keywords will index in the top two search results. The Vanity URL will index in the third spot in the event someone already owns the same word(s) as a keyword. Screen names will index below keywords and Vanity URLs.
Members that own the keywords will have the first right to renew them each year. This is set up the same way as domain name renewals. Members will be able to renew their Vanity URL annually as well.
By adding the vanity URL at the price point Findit is considering will provide an additional revenue stream. The price point we are considering is less than most domain names on annual basis.
Raymond Firth President of Findit.com stated, “We are developing concepts we believe will enhance the member’s ability to gain more control over their content being indexed in Findit and having multiple options at different price points to have their content appear in search results. We believe that giving the members the ability to upload their content to our servers free in real-time rather than waiting for the content to be crawled and possibly indexed hoping it will display in search results on other search engines will give members and visitors the ability to connect quicker through Findit.”
