In the second overtime it was the Pistons who took the lead as Chris Webber put them up by three after hitting a jumper and sinking a free-throw with 1:28 left in the game. LeBron then answered with a three-pointer to tie the score at 107-107.
After LeBron James scored on a driving layup with two seconds left the Pistons had one last chance but Billups missed a 13-foot jumper and the Cavaliers had the win.
