After four years of hard work singer Enrique Iglesias has finally completed his latest CD "Insomniac". Iglesias has never been one to take that long when making a CD, in fact he previously made seven albums in eight years.
So what took him so long this time? "This CD drove me nuts," Iglesias said. "I say that because I beat myself up."
Iglesias said he went through about 50 songs before he finally settled on 12 for his new CD. The CD includes "Do you know?", "Miss You" which he dedicated to his girlfriend Anna Kournikova, "Push" which features rapper Lil Wayne, and a Spanish version of "Do You Know" called "Dimelo."
"If you were to tell anybody Enrique Iglesias is doing a song with Lil Wayne, they'd be like, 'What?'" Iglesias says about his song "Push." "And in the beginning, I thought, 'I don't know.' But once I sang it, got confident and finished it, it worked."
"Insomniac" is considered Iglesias’ most diverse CD. "Insomniac" will be released June 12.
