Lindsay Lohan is reportedly doing fine in Promises rehab center after she checked in on Monday. A friend of Lohan, stylist Nate Newell, told People magazine that, "She's happy where she is and is just taking time to herself to learn and be OK. I've been in touch with her and she likes it. She's in the public eye 24 hours a day, she's gotten caught up in it all."
Lohan, 20, was in Wonderland, another rehab center, earlier this year for alcoholism. She was allowed day passes to continue filming the movie “I Know Who Killed Me”, and she was also allowed to continue going to Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. The actress was arrested over the Memorial Day weekend for driving under the influence after she wrecked her Mercedes. The police also found what they believe to be cocaine in her car.
Everyone seems to be asking if she will finally sober up this time. "She just needs to be away from everyone and not get attacked by the paparazzi. She's doing really, really well," Newell said.
"I think she surrounds herself with good people generally, but all the pressure that she's around has created this alternate universe in a way and it's hard for her to stay grounded. Last time she was back and forth from the 'I Know Who Killed Me' set, but this time she'll totally be there." Newell told People about her stay at Promises.
Lohan is expected to be out of rehab in a month and just in time for her 21st birthday on July 2. Before rehab she had already planned a big birthday party in
