NBA News: All-Star Game to Shatter Attendance Record

The NBA All-Star game scheduled for Feb. 14 is expected to more than double the current attendance record for the annual event as more than 90,000 fans file into Cowboys Stadium.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones thinks the attendance might actually hit six figures, significantly higher than the record attendance for a basketball game of any kind.

The current record for an All-Star game sits at 44,735 set at the Houston Astrodome in 1989 while the 2003 showdown between Michigan State and Kentucky at Ford Field in Detroit pulled in 78,129 fans.
