Things aren’t looking good for Paris Hilton. Only two days before Hilton was supposed to report to jail to serve time for violation of probation following an alcohol-related reckless driving charge, her record label Warner Brothers dropped her. Now she has received a lawsuit over plagiarism on her debut single "Stars Are Blind."
Sparta Florida Music Group is suing Hilton, V2 Music Publishing, Warner Chappell Music, and songwriter/producer Fernando Garibay for plagiarism of UB40’s classic "Kingston Town." Sparta Florida Music Group plans to use internet articles, and a musicologist as evidence.
