Congressman Ron Paul will be appearing on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” tonight, one day before the third GOP presidential debate in New Hampshire.
While Paul has relied heavily on the internet and word of mouth for much of his publicity, his appearance on Jon Stewart’s show will be one of the few times he’s been able to grab television time without sharing it with his fellow republican presidential hopefuls.
Paul began drawing larger attention to his campaign after the Republican debate in South Carolina in which he challenged the belief that American belongs in Iraq. His exchanges with Rudy Giuliani won him many new supporters and served to differentiate himself from the growing field Republican candidates.
Ron Paul will appear as a guest on “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” tonight on Comedy Central. The show airs at 11:00 p.m. ET.
