Apple iPhone out in stores soon
The new Apple Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL) phone, iPhone, will be available on June 29. The phone has no keypad but only a touch screen; it also has wireless internet capabilities and a media player. Depending on configuration the phone will cost $499 or $599.
The Apple iPhone will only be offered by AT&T wireless. Shares of Apple stock rose recently due to a report that said that the phone would be out in stores June 20.
It will be offered exclusively by AT&T Inc.’s wireless division, formerly known as Cingular.
