Carithers Flowers Reminds Customers of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and National Mammography Day on October 17th

ATLANTA, GEORGIA. (October 12, 2014). Carithers Flowers, the second generation, family-owned Atlanta florist, announced that it is reminding customers that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and October 17^th is National Mammography Day. The florist has an array of pink flower arrangements that make great gifts for a breast cancer survivor or loved one currently fighting breast cancer.

In commenting on breast cancer awareness, Carithers Flowers Founder Charles Carithers said, “The best thing we can do is to bring awareness to breast cancer so that more money is raised and focus is placed on finding a cure for breast cancer and to wipe out all types of cancer entirely. Many of us have known someone who has had cancer, fought it, and won, but we may also know someone who has lost their battle with cancer. That’s why we continue to support local charities and organizations that are participating in Breast Cancer Awareness Month and National Mammography Day.  During the month of October, Carithers is proud to donate proceeds from every online flower order.
