Just when Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson were getting comfortable with publicly acknowledging their relationship the two have reportedly decided to call it quits.
The split was reported by People magazine who quoted a source close to the two as saying “they’re still friends.” The break-up occurred just before the recent Memorial Day weekend.
Hudson, 28, worked with Wilson, 38, on the 2006 film “You, Me and Dupree” and the two quickly became the subject of tabloid headlines. They were often spotted together yet they refused to publicly acknowledge they were in a relationship until recently.
Neither Hudson nor Wilson have spoken about the decision to part ways, nor have they indicated what caused the decision.
Hudson has a three-year-old son, Ryder, with her husband Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes. Hudson and Robinson are currently in the process of divorcing.
