Tom Sizemore appeared in court this morning for a violation of probation hearing. Over the past few years he has almost continuously been in and out of trouble. He was arrested May 8 and booked for seven drug related charges. Sizemore surrendered Tuesday morning after a warrant for his arrest was issued because he allegedly violated his probation.
The "Black Hawk Down" star expected the judge to recall the warrant but instead he was unexpectedly handcuffed and taken into custody before the judge even arrived for the hearing. Sizemore’s lawyer requested to transfer courtrooms, claiming that the current judge would not be fair. The request was granted but Sizemore will have to remain in custody until the new judge decides when to hear the case.
Sizemore, 45, has stared in movies including "Saving Private Ryan", "Point Break", and "Pearl Harbor." He could possibly have to serve up to 6 years in jail if convicted of the seven pending drug charges.
