Healthcare Stocks Mostly Weak (DDSS, NVS, MRK, ALKS, PFE)

After falling two days in a row, most of the top healthcare stocks have opened low.

Labopharm Inc. (NASDAQ:DDSS) fell 3.31% to $2.04 on high volume. Yesterday, the stock fell over 4.50%.

Novartis AG (ADR) (NYSE:NVS) declined 1.85% to $53.11 on high volume.

Merck & Co., Inc. (NYSE:MRK) lost 1% to $36.78.

However, Alkermes, Inc. (NASDAQ:ALKS) is clearly bucking the trend and rose 7% to $11.25 after Hapoalim Securities upgrades Alkermes to Buy. Price target $14.

Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE) also rose 0.50% to $18.13.
