Macy's, Inc. (NYSE:M) fell 2.2% to $16.30. Yesterday, the stock surged 4% to $33.21 after it posted a surprise increase of 8% in the latest month, when analysts were calling for an 8.4 percent drop.

Nordstrom, Inc. (NYSE:JWN) plunged 4.50% $33.58 on high volume after Goldman downgraded the company’s share to Neutral from Buy with a $39 price target.

Kohl's Corporation (NYSE:KSS) lost declined 1.50% to $49.30 extending its yesterday’s loss of about 4%. Kohl’s Corporation (Kohl’s) operates family-oriented department stores that sell moderately-priced apparel, footwear and accessories for women, men and children; soft home products, such as sheets and pillows, and housewares.

Sears Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ:SHLD) sold off 0.50% to $89.38 on moderate volume. Sears Holdings Corporation (Holdings) is the parent company of Kmart Holding Corporation (Kmart) and Sears, Roebuck and Co. (Sears).
