Marilyn Manson and estranged wife in custody battle for collection of dead pets
Marilyn Manson and estranged wife Dita Von Teese are battling over a collection of their dead pets. Manson and Dita are in the custody battle for a dead peacock and two dead monkeys.
"I have four taxidermied baboons, two monkeys, a white peacock, a turtle and a wild boar." Manson said. "I went through a dramatic lifestyle change with my home after the break-up. I left it. When you get separated, you lose so much. I don't know what she'll say when I ask for them back."
The "Eat me, Drink me" singer dated Dita for five years before the couple married in 2005. In January the couple announced their split. Manson said their relationship left him "destroyed." "I came out of this naked, a featherless bird. I was completely destroyed. I had no soul left," he said.
Manson and 19-year-old actress Evan Rachel Wood are dating. He says she has become his "muse."
