After only serving five days out of a 23 day sentence Paris Hilton has been released from jail! TMZ.com reported that "unimpeachable sources" say that a deal was made on Wednesday to release her on Thursday morning.
There has been no confirmation of her release from her lawyer or publicist.
The "Simple Life" star was arrested for drunk driving in September. Her license was suspended and the hotel heiress was put on three years probation. In February she was stopped by police for speeding when they found out she was driving with a suspended license. On May 4 Hilton went to court and was sentenced to 23 days in jail for violation of probation.
The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department is reportedly holding a press conference on Thursday to comment on her release.
As of now Hilton is under house arrest. TMZ.com reports that Los Angles County Sheriff’s department spokesperson Steve Whitmore said Hilton, 26, was released "due to medical reasons."
