O2 Media’s hit morning show The Balancing Act is jumping on the health wagon, and wants you to go for the ride! Tune in February 8th as special guests Well-Pict Berries, and Chews-4-Health take viewers down a healthier path! Don’t forget The Balancing Act now has an extra half-hour of power— airing from 7:00am to 8:00am on Lifetime TV! (ET/PT)
Starting off the show—Balancing Act host, Kristy Villa has some “berry” exciting news! Strawberries have recently been dubbed a superfood! Yes, the strawberry is proving to be an excellent source to get your fill of antioxidants, Vitamin C, potassium, folate and fiber.
Also, joining the show is Dan Crowley from Well-Pict Berries. Together, Kristy and Dan explain the process of how strawberries make it to your grocery store as well as giving you some “berry” interesting facts.
Dan says, “Like a fine wine, every strawberry is unique. And most people don’t know that there are many different strawberry varieties available on the market today. For example our company breeds our own proprietary varieties based on the desired flavor, size, color, aroma and shine.”
Well-Pict Berries contain berries that can be as big as apples-- without using steroids. It’s the result of years of experience growing berries combined with the right soil, climate, and best plants. Moms seem to love the benefits of organic strawberries. In Well-Pict Berries organic line, they don’t use any pesticides.
Well-Pict strawberries are hand- picked first thing in the morning by a specially trained team, packed fresh, trucked to a cooling facility at the perfect temperature, and shipped to refrigerated trucks that do same-day delivery to the stores.
Don’t end up picking the short “straw”-- here’s a holiday tip! Certain times of the year there are special strawberries available, such as long stem strawberries which go great for Valentine’s Day with chocolate dipping sauce! For more information check out http://www.wellpict.com/.
Now we go from chewing sweet berries, to chewing through the fat! Dr. David Friedman, founder of Chews-4-Health joins The Balancing Act to talk about a revolutionary way to chew your way to a trimmer and leaner body! It’s called TrimULean. Friedman says, “It’s a synergistic, easy to digest, chewable product (bar) that contains what’s considered to be the ten best ingredients for weight loss. Because it is chewed it allows for a quicker absorption and digestion.”
The bar’s ingredients include theobromine, green tea, hoodia gordonii, guggul, coleus forskohlii, banaba leaf, chromium picolinate, citrus aurantium, white willow, and gymnema sylvestre. That might sound like a mouthful, but the new bar (that also contains Xylitol, a low calorie sweetener) will trim down the amount of food you eat while trimming your figure! The slogan behind TrimULean-- Chewing got you into this mess, chewing can help get you out of it. For more information visit http://www.orderchews.com/.
