Sarah Jessica Parker had hundreds of women rushing to the mall after she released her own clothing line. Her clothes are affordable for the average woman ranging from $20 dresses to $10 tops. The "Sex and the City" star said she made sure her clothes were affordable because she believes its "every woman's inalienable right to have a pulled-together, stylish, confident wardrobe with money left over to live."
Women drove in from many different places to see Parker launch her "Bitten" label in New York. "I think it's a great idea that she made it so affordable and the sizes are so broad," said Kris Young, a make-up artist who drove in with friends to see Parker. "This is more real-life, everyday and everyone can have a piece of it."
"We love her," Young said. Steve & Barry’s are stocking Parker's clothing line. Her clothing line caters to middle class shoppers who love fashion but can’t afford designer labels. Parker's new clothing line lines up with her motto "fashion is not a luxury, it’s a right."
"We came to see Sarah Jessica Parker today because we're big 'Sex and the City' fans and we think she has a great sense of fashion," said fashion teacher Lucille Barresi.
