Paris Hilton arrived at the court house two hours late. Law officials say that the delay was caused by the Sheriff’s department refusing to allow the "judge’s order" to pick up Hilton. The Sheriff reportedly believes that the police department has the exclusive right to make decisions where Paris is concerned.
Paris was released yesterday after only serving 3 days of her 23 day sentence. She was fitted with an ankle bracelet and sent home to serve the rest of her time because of "medical problems." Prosecutors filed a motion yesterday wanting the hotel heiress to be returned to jail and the Sheriff’s Department held in contempt of court for letting her go home.
The judge stated specifically that Hilton, 26, was not allowed to serve her time at home.
Paris has been reportedly ordered back to jail. TMZ.com reports that she had to be "physically dragged" from the court room by a deputy as she screamed "Mom, Mom, Mom!"
