Paris Hilton is tucked away in the medical ward at an L.A. County jail facility and has been described as "fragile" by sources close to the situation.
After Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer sent the 26-year-old Hilton back to jail yesterday the hotel heiress has been placed in her own room inside the medical ward at the correctional institution Twin Towers.
Originally sent to Century Regional Detention Facility to serve 23 days of a 45 day sentence Hilton was released early Thursday morning to serve out the remainder of her sentence at home.
Upon learning of her release city attorneys requested a hearing with Sauer asking that Hilton be returned to jail. Sauer was obviously upset by Sheriff Lee Baca’s decision to let Paris out due to a “medical decision” and quickly delivered his ruling in the matter, “The defendant is remanded to county jail to serve the remainder of her 45-day sentence. This order is forthwith.”
Leaving the courtroom in tears, Hilton was sent to Twin Towers where she is finding life in L.A. County issued clothes difficult. Since her return reports have indicated that “The Simple Life” star has not eaten or slept but rather spent most of her time crying and praying.
