Eddie Murphy ordered to take a paternity test
Eddie Murphy is taking a DNA test today to determine if he is the father of Mel B’s baby girl, Angle Iris. Eddie ended his relationship with the former Spice Girls singer while she was pregnant.
After Eddie refused to acknowledge Mel’s claim that the baby was his, she took legal action and he has been ordered to court.
British newspaper The Sun says a source told them, "If he tries to duck out of this test there will be all hell to pay. This isn't just another girlfriend he is messing around, this is his own flesh and blood."
After Eddie ended the relationship last year he told Dutch TV, "I don’t know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test."
"Mel knows the baby is Eddie's and can't believe it has got to the point where she has to force him to acknowledge there is a chance he could be the father," the source tells The Sun.
"He has left her with no choice. This isn't about the money. It's about Angel knowing for sure who her dad is."
The "Dreamgirls" actor already has five children and has not seen Mel or the baby since she was born.
