USAElectionPolls.com released a report that predicted online support for Ron Paul to exceed one million by the primaries. Online support does not always translate to support at the polls nor does it translate to true support as evidenced by Paul's poor polling numbers.
If Meetup registration is any measure of true support then "Ron Paul has made a quantum jump over the past few weeks" says David Terr. According to the Meetup statistics, Ron Paul's group has grown by 34% in the past week, 100% since May 26th.
"Ron Paul meetups are actual living American citizens who are organizing to do real things in support of their candidate. That means a lot more than visits to web sites, youtube views or friends on social networking sites or any poll." says the Ron Paul Noho Meetup group.
This is strong evidence supporting the fact that Ron Paul's support is not only confined to the Internet and has transferred into the real world.
