While much of the Mid Atlantic is being blasted by a winter snowstorm South Florida will remain in fine shape as forecasters have predicted good conditions for Sunday’s Super Bowl XLIV showdown between the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints.
Rain may fall on Saturday as a cold front moves in but by game time conditions are expected to be dry and cool.
Three years ago in Miami the Colts, led by Peyton Manning, knocked off the Chicago Bears in a steady rain for the Super Bowl title. Forecasters have said that by kickoff on Sunday temperatures should be around the mid 60s but by the end of the game could dip into the 50s.
