Dermot Mulroney and Catherine Keener No Longer “Lovely and Amazing” after Divorce Papers Filed
After 17 years of marriage Dermot Mulroney and Catherine Keener are calling it quits. The 43-yearold Mulroney filed for divorce last Friday citing irreconcilable differences and has asked for joint custody of their seven-year-old son Clyde.
Mulroney, whose film credits include “Georgia Rule” with Lindsay Lohan, “About Schmidt” with Jack Nicholson and “My Best Friend’s Wedding” with Julia Roberts and Cameron Diaz, married Keener in November 1990.
In 2001 they both had roles in Nicole Holofcener’s independent film “Lovely and Amazing” which received strong reviews.
Keener has been nominated for two Oscar Awards for her supporting roles in “Capote” and “Being John Malkovich” and her latest film with Vince Vaugh and Emile Hirsch, “Into the Wild,” is in post production.
