"Girls Gone Wild" creator Joe Francis has been sued by two women from Florida who say a video of them engaging in sexual activities was released without their consent.
The two women claim they were taken on board the "Girls Gone Wild" tour bus with the promise of free clothing. They say although they are under legal drinking age they were given alcohol and encouraged by cameramen to perform sexual activities.
The two women filed the lawsuit in Panama City on Monday. Brooke Pastolic and Christina Brose maintain the claim that they never gave their consent for the video to be released and if they did it was done so illegally when representatives of "Girls Gone Wild" gave them alcohol.
The video was released on two "Girls Gone Wild" DVD’s. The attorney for Francis’ Mantra Films Inc. Michael Burke said "Girls Gone Wild" crews always ask for identification for age purposes and never serves alcoholic beverages on the bus.
As of right now Francis is in a Nevada jail for charges of federal tax evasion. He pleaded not guilty and was given bail but chose not to take it in hopes of evading charges of possessing drugs and contraband in Florida while he was staying in the Bay County Jail. There are also charges filed against him for using minors in sexual performances, conspiring to use minors and prostitution.
The two women’s lawsuit is seeking unspecified damages.
