Hillary Clinton Wins Support of Hollywood Heavyweight Steven Spielberg
Hillary Clinton may not receive the backing from everybody in Hollywood but she certainly reeled in the biggest fish on Wednesday after film producer Steven Spielberg declared his support for the Democratic presidential hopeful.
Clinton has been dividing Hollywood with rival Barack Obama and while Obama has landed Spielberg’s DreamWorks production partners David Geffen and Jeffrey Katzenberg, Clinton was able to win the endorsement of one of the most influential and respected stars in the entertainment industry.
In throwing his support behind Hillary Clinton, Spielberg said “I've taken the time to familiarize myself with the impressive field of Democratic candidates and am convinced that Hillary Clinton is the most qualified candidate to lead us from her first day in the White House.”
