Fashion Label may drop Lindsay Lohan
Problems continue for actress Lindsay Lohan even while she’s in rehab. The 20-year-old is currently in Promises clinic for alcohol and drug abuse, she is being sued for a 2005 accident, and now she might be dropped from a fashion label.
The "Mean Girls" star is set to represent "fashion house" Jill Stuart in the autumn campaign. She already shot the advertisements for the company in April. The branch of the company in Japan funded the campaign and no longer wants Lohan to represent them due to her recent behavior.
The Japanese branch reportedly told CEO Ron Curtis they did not want to be involved any longer after they saw Lohan in a picture slumped in the seat of an SUV.
Although the Japanese branch requested Lohan not be used in the campaign, Curtis insist they support Lindsay and she will still be used in the campaign.
"The ads are running as planned, and we have the utmost support for Lindsay and her rehabilitation, and she is doing great. They will also appear in all of the major lifestyle fashion magazines for fall in Asia and the U.S." Curtis said.
