Explosion at Kleen Energy Power Plant in Connecticut Leaves Several Dead

An explosion at a power plant in Middletown, Connecticut has left several people dead and many more injured.

 

According to reports a gas pipeline at the Kleen Energy plant exploded just before 11:30 a.m., shooting flames and sending clouds of black smoke into the sky. As many as 100 people were working at the plant at the time of the explosion.

 

Officials have not said what caused the Kleen Energy plant which was undergoing construction.
