Findit, Inc. site Findit.com to Implement Friending on its Campaign Management Platform
Findit a Campaign Management Platform that offers an Interactive Search Engine will be implementing Friending to the site before year end.
Findit.com was acquired earlier in 2014 and has been developing a Campaign Management Platform with interactive search engine features. Developers added messaging earlier this week and are now working to add friending to the site.
Currently, Findit provides members with a platform to Join Findit, reserve a unique Keyword URL, enter a screen name and post content in sections that include About, Pictures, Music and Right Now. The Right Now section provides members the ability to include in a status update that can have up to six thousand characters, pictures, a video, link, audio file, and pull in a press release from TransWorldNews .com, a site also owned by Findit, Inc. The content pulled into a Right Now post is content the member has uploaded to their Findit site.
Findit also provides search within Findit to return search results based on content that has been posted inside of Findit. This includes all content posted directly into a member’s Findit site along with URLs submitted by the member. The Submit URL provides a place to include the URL, title and description for the URL. The inclusion of title and description is what Findit utilized to provide matching search results.
In 2015 Friending will benefit members that become friends with other members by having Right Now status updates display in your Friends Right Now feed. By having this feature a member can see updates from members they are friends with in real-time instead of having to go to member pages to see new Right Now posts. The Right Now feature will be rolled out in the next phase in the beginning of 2015. The first phase is to provide members with the option to Friend other members so when the Right Now feed goes live they will begin to populate the friends of the members Right Now feed.
Findit is an open platform that is index-able by other search engines. By adding Right Now posts through friending, search engines will have the ability to crawl these posts and index them on the search engines. This provides more options to members on Findit to have their content indexed, searched and found. In addition to indexing in search results on Findit and outside search engines Findit also provides the ShareThis tool. The ShareThis tool empowers a member to manage their Social Campaign Strategy from their Findit Site by doing a Right Now post that can include all of the content elements; pictures, audio, press release, video, link and text and from the Right Now sharing that to all of their other social sites outside of Findit. Unlike other social sites Findit provides sharing to Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest and LinkedIn from Findit.
Findit friending is designed to allow anyone to become friends with another member. After the member friends someone that member has the option of deleting that member from their Friend list.
