Keri Russell gives birth to first child

Keri Russell gave birth to her first child, a boy, on June 9 in New York. Russell and husband Shane Deary became engaged last year and was married on Valentines Day in Manhattan. 

The 31-year-old actress and Deary, a contractor, named the baby boy River Russell Deary. 

Some of Russell’s screen credits include “Mission Impossible III" and “The Upside of Anger.” She also played college student Felicity Porter in “Felicity”, a TV series. The show ended in 2002 after four years of success. 

She also stars in the movie “Waitress” which is a romantic comedy where she plays a woman who gets pregnant unexpectedly.
