From the depths of Brooklyn New York comes a new musical act that's ready to change your perspective of music. BIMB Family is a music group that fuses Hip-Hop and Reggae music to form it's own, new sub genre they appropriately call "Dub 2.0". With a mixture of heavy bass and thought-provoking rhymes, BIMB Family is looking to step into the music industry with a solid footprint.
The group is comprised of rappers Michael K.
Success, C-Tons, Dot Henny and Dansample along with producer Selectah Zaragu.
Each bring their own flavor of sound to their "Dub 2.0". With over 20
years of creating music they now have honed their collective talents to release
a new single, the self-reflective "Steppin' On My Coat". The record
combines meaningful lyrics with big bass lines to a pensive rapper, spilling
his distraught of how he could've changed for the better.
In addition to "Steppin' On My Coat",
BIMB Family is also working on their new single "Grinding On Dirt"
that will be released by spring. With more singles yet to be released later in
the year, the current tracks that are being released will set the tone for
their upcoming album, which will be released later this year.
Breaking into the music industry can be
challenging, but BIMB Family is more than ready to overcome adversity with
their own brand of creativity and produce an entirely new sound. Their tenacity
is their fuel to their sub-genre "Dub 2.0" and it's movement that
will surely cause a ruckus within the music community.
