Paris Hilton threatened by jail authorities

A London newspaper, The Sun, has reported that jail official’s threatened to put Paris Hilton on a drip. The hotel heiress allegedly refused to eat and doctors became concerned. They told her if she did not start eating they would put her on a drip. The 26-year-old socialite was said to appear “weak, lethargic, and to have lost weight.”

A source told The Sun “After she was transferred back, Paris refused to eat. Staff became worried as she seems very thin with he bones poking out. She was also very weak and lethargic. They threatened to put her on an intravenous drip to re-hydrate her and give her some nourishment unless she started eating.”

The source said the “Simple Life” star started eating, but doctors were closely monitoring her. "Paris looks very pale. She is not allowed to wear make-up and her hair is matted and frizzy from washing it with soap as there's no shampoo,” the source reported.

Hilton was sentenced 23 days in jail after she was found guilty of violating her probation and driving with a suspended license. She was sent to the Lynwood jail in Los Angeles where she was released after only three days because of undisclosed medical problems. Hilton was put on house arrest to serve the rest of her time but the judge ordered her back to jail. She was sent to the medical ward at Twin Towers and then transferred back to the Lynwood jail.

Hilton is expected to be released next Tuesday. The residents in her neighborhood are attempting to have her removed from the neighborhood because of the disruptive media frenzy that surrounds her. Residents are complaining about the excessive traffic and helicopter noise.
