Jennifer Aniston visited by Brad Pitt’s mother

Jennifer Aniston got a visit from her ex-husband's mother on Father’s Day. Although Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt split more than two years ago she and her former in-laws are still close.

Brad Pitt’s brother Doug Pitt says it’s not odd that Aniston is still close to the family. "Jennifer is a friend of Brad's," Doug told People magazine "Why wouldn't she be a friend of ours?"

Jane Pitt visited Aniston at her Malibu beach house on Sunday and stayed about two hours. "The second the SUV was feet from the place, Jen's bodyguard rushed out and got the door for Jane. She was quickly taken into the house where she stayed for the next two hours," a source told Justjared.com.

Aniston told Vanity Fair that she and Jane Pitt keep in touch on a regular basis. After Brad Pitt left Aniston his parents reportedly disapproved of his relationship with Angelina Jolie. Jolie admitted she was nervous about meeting Pitt’s parents because she did not know how they would treat her or her two adopted children, Maddox and Zahara.

Jolie said Pitt’s parents treated her and her two adopted children very nicely. Pitt and Jolie now have four children, one of them biological.

"When I first met them I came in with two adopted children from other countries and I didn't know how they were going to be. But they are equally loving with seems to have run its course for the moment," Jolie said.

Although Aniston is still close to her former in-laws she seems to have moved on. Only days before Jane’s visit Aniston received a visit from her new boyfriend; British model Paul Sculfor.
