Eva Longoria to be married in July

“Desperate Housewives” actress Eva Longoria and basketball star Tony Parker will be wed on July 7 at Chateau Vaux-le-Vicomte.

The 17th century French castle is just south of Paris. The couple will be honeymooning in Paris. Parker denied rumors that there wedding cake was being flown in from Los Angeles for $11,000.

Parker, who just recently won an NBA championship with the San Antonio Spur, said they expect privacy at the wedding to be very difficult. “It will be very difficult to avoid the paparazzi,” Parker said.

On the guest list is all “Desperate Housewives” co-stars, Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Jamie Foxx and Lionel Richie.

The 25-year-old Parker went on to say that Eva, 32, has helped improved his performance on the basketball court. When asked why he replied, “Perhaps because I’m a little more experienced, more mature and I’ll give Eva a little credit. It’s like a dream. It’s hard for me to realize what’s happening. I think later on I’ll be able to understand what’s going on now."
