Fergie Upsets Chicago Fans with Brief Appearance

While her solo career has taken off since splitting from The Black Eyed Peas, Fergie seems to be having a bit of a problem with her personal appearances that could ultimately lead to a fan backlash.

In what was billed as a four-song set at a Chicago club fans shelled out $75 to see the “London Bridge” singer take the mic but after showing up an hour later than scheduled the 25-year-old singer stumbled through half a song before abandoning the stage to join her friends.

Fergie’s debut album, The Duchess, has sold over 3.6 million worldwide and landed her number one hits with “London Bridge” and “Glamorous.”

A rep for Fergie insisted that the singer was only scheduled to appear at the club and was not paid to perform.
