Jay Arthur Article Featured in Quality Progress

Jay Arthur’s article, Roadmap to Savings was featured in the February issue of Quality Progress Magazine. Co-authors on the article are Jim Harlan, Walt Arnason,  and Jack Nichols.

The article presents a case study of the use of Lean Six Sigma as a way to cut costs and boost productivity for those who work and manage E-470, a toll road that runs along the eastern perimeter of the Denver metropolitan area. This lean Six Sigma effort led to team projects that saved $463,518 per year and led them to win the coveted President's Award from the International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association in 2006.
