It offers its products   under four groups: graphics processing units (GPUs), media and communications   processors (MCPs), handheld GPUs, and consumer electronics. GPU product group   includes products that support desktop personal computers, notebook personal   computers, professional workstations, and other GPU-based products. MCP product   group comprises NVIDIA nForce products that operate as a single-chip or chipset   that provide system functions, such as high speed storage and network   communications. Handheld GPU product group includes products that support   handheld personal digital assistants, cellular phones, and other handheld   devices. Consumer electronics product group consists of products that support   video game consoles and other digital consumer electronics devices. NVIDIA sells   its products under the brand names, NVIDIA GeForce, NVIDIA GoForce, NVIDIA   Quadro, and NVIDIA nForce. The company markets its products to original   equipment manufacturers, original design manufacturers, system integrators,   motherboard manufacturers, and add-in board manufacturers. NVIDIA was founded in   1993 and is headquartered in Santa Clara, California.
