Tampa, Florida, February 8, 2010 – The Good Life Tampa Bay TV crew was one of only a handful of media crews that were granted access to The Giving Back Fund’s VIP Big Game Event in Tampa during Super Bowl week 2009, hosted by Ashton Kutcher along with his wife, Demi Moore. About 250 guests attended the event held in a private estate home on Tampa Bay.
“H” John Mejia, TV host of Good Life Tampa Bay, was on the red carpet to interview the hosting couple about their participation in the charity. Both felt that becoming philanthropists and giving back to the community is as valued and desirable as pursuing any entertainment, athletic or business goal.
When “H” asked how they have been spending their time in Tampa Bay, both smiled and said they actually stayed in their hotel room and watched movies since flying in yesterday, though they did plan on attending some parties later in the evening.
Not only did the couple show their support for the foundation, but they also interacted with young, local fans who found out they were in the neighborhood. Signing autographs and taking pictures seemed to be all part of the fun for Ashton.
Marc Pollick, the Founder and President of The Giving Back Fund, was very appreciative of all the efforts contributed to make this charity event happen. He was especially thankful for Ashton and Demi’s support of the foundation and their help in raising awareness about the organization’s mission.
The Giving Back Fund is a national public charity with the main goal of helping establish philanthropic role models who will inspire others to give back to their communities. You can learn more about the organization by going to: www.givingback.org.
The Good Life Tampa Bay crew was excited to participate in such an exclusive event that not only benefited charity but also was able to give back to the immediate community.
