Gerry Czarnecki, Chairman of the National Leadership Institute and Author of Lead with Love, launches “The Top 100 Leadership Gurus” list.

As of today, the National Leadership Institute has a new section on their website called “The Top 100 Leadership Gurus”.  Inspired by his years of commitment to mentoring organizational leaders; Gerry Czarnecki put together this list as a tool for non-profit leaders.  Mr. Czarnecki states, “It is hoped that by exposing non-profits to the many very high quality thinkers, authors and consultants on leadership, they will be able to use these thinkers to help develop a better understanding of leadership principles and practices”.

According to Mr. Czarnecki ,The National Leadership Institute was created to offer low cost training and support to those smaller non-profits by financing the effort by working with corporations on governance issues, and using those monies to fund low cost training for non profits.

Following the theme of his book, “You’re A Non-Profit Director…Now What?”, Gerry has been eager to provide leadership and new types of resources directly to the non-profit world.

As Chairman of the National Leadership Institute, Gerry Czarnecki explains, “Most non-profit directors really do not understand their true ‘governance responsibilities’.”  Further, leadership in non-profits tends to be so heavily focused on development activities (fund raising) that the leaders of the organization often do not focus effectively on leading their staff. Yet, most also have few financial resources to purchase leadership training.

Mr. Czarnecki has been leading organizations for most of his professional life, and considers himself a practitioner of leadership.  He has also been committed to teaching in professional seminars and university settings.  “I have been a mentor to organizational leaders worldwide throughout my professional career.” says, Gerry.

Mr. Czarnecki’s goal for this Guru list is to expose non-profits to the many very high quality thinkers, authors and consultants on leadership.  He wants these non-profit organizations to be able to use these thinkers to “help develop a better understanding of leadership principles and practices.”

Grouping all of these Gurus and combining the efforts of the top leading minds in the world can lead to collaboration in the future.  There is the possibility of conventions and summits that bring these Leadership Gurus and non-profit organizations together for an education event and one-of-a-kind experience.

This is not just a list but a resource for professionals looking for a mentor, speaker, or just information on how to be an effective leader. – Gerry Czarnecki.
